Get a headstart on pronouncing Latin and learning the Latin alphabet! Latin 2 and beyond, for you this is review and refinement of your knowledge.

For anyone wanting to get a headstart for next year and who likes to read, I recommend getting a hold of a copy of Vergil’s Aeneid. The most comprehensible and reader-friendly version that I am aware of is Vergil’s Aeneid: Hero, War, Humanity translated by G.B. Cobbold. It can be ordered through amazon.com or Barnes and Noble, or www.bolchazy.com. (I am planning to make this available for you to buy next year, but getting and reading it now would be a great use of summer time.)

Listen to Latin (and Greek) via Princeton University -
This is a great way to improve your pronunciation and familiarity with the language, even if the texts are upper level. (Don’t panic that you do not yet understand it!)
